Bermuda here I come ~

That is right cats - I leave for Bermuda tomorrow night! Giddy UP! I cannot believe it is already here! I fly to Vegas tomorrow night - then catch a flight at midnight to DC. I land about 7:20am EST and then catch the flight to Bermuda!!! It is A LOT of traveling - and I am not one for long flights (I get ancy and SUPER bored) but I am looking forward to it! The entire week is planned out for us. I will be sailing, swimming with dolphins and can finally use my scuba diving certification. I think I have to take a 30 min "refresher" course since it has been 3 years since I was certified - but I am SO excited!!!! I also plan to lay out and try to tan the whitest legs in America. From past experiences I have learned that I will forever be an albino and being tan is NOT in my future. I wish EC could come. If I win the trip next year he will be able to come with me though. Next year is a "Mystery Trip". They will give us clues every month until we figure it out. We just got our first clue:

Where will this year's mystery trip be?
It's not on an island because
It's between an ocean & a sea.
To speak Spanish would be a major plus
But if the ground starts shaking,
watch out for the volcanic rush!

Hmmmm - thoughts?!?!? All I know is a paid week of vacation - and an expense free trip sounds excellent to me!

Update on the wedding front:

*We have asked everyone in our bridal party to be a part of our special day (and they all accepted!)
*Picked the date= September 8, 2006
*Narrowed down the guest list to 140. - Originally we only wanted 75 - so much for that idea.
*Sent out all the Save the Date cards
*Booked the ceremony & reception site. Both will be at The Pines @ Genesee in Golden, CO.
* Booked A Music Plus as our DJ - already started to pick songs.
*Picked our first dance song: "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green.
* Bought everything "fallish" that I could get my hands on @ Michaels. The X-mas stuff is already out and in full effect!
*Booked a couple appts with florists & photographers for the day after Thanksgiving when EC and I are in town.
*Bought the flower girl dress (thanks Mouse!)
*Ordered the flower girl sash, ring bearer pillow & usher ties from Aria.
* Had a pow-wow with Empy about invitations - she is full of EXCELLENT ideas

So as you can see plans are in full swing!! So far it is pretty fun stuff!! My Mom is still the most dramatic person on the face of the earth. I seriously doubt at this point that she will even be there. She doesn't want to talk to me or help plan anything. Oh well - her loss. She sucks anyways. ;)

Now I must get back to work and get ready for tomorrow! I will post Bermuda pictures when I return!!!
